• Your name and contact details (e.g. name, address, telephone number and e-mail address), information about the company you work for, your position or title and/or your relationship with a person and other basic information), information about your business relationship with us, e.g. if you are a former employee of ours;
• Information about your financial situation, in particular the type and amount of your regular income, your assets and your current and future financial obligations;
• Your investment objectives, in particular with regard to the time horizon and purpose of the investment, your risk tolerance, any investment restrictions and your knowledge of and experience with financial investments;
• Your date of birth, marital status, details of maintenance obligations and your profession;
• Identification and background information that you provide to us or that is collected from you as part of our onboarding process;
• Information provided to us for the purpose of attending meetings, seminars or events;
• Information about your education, previous jobs and references as well as any other information you submit to us when applying for a job;
• Information in connection with documents and communications that we send you electronically, such as your use of promotional e-mails;
• All other information relating to you that you provide to us.

Communication: To communicate with you and with third parties, e.g. by e-mail, telephone, letter or otherwise;

Entering into, management and performance of agreements: To conclude and fulfill the business relationship with you, i.e., to provide you with the products and services we offer;

Operation of our website: To maintain, provide and improve our websites, including monitoring and analyzing their use;

Compliance with laws, directives and guidelines from authorities and internal regulations: To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, to conduct money laundering, conflict and reputation checks, to respond to requests or investigations by law enforcement authorities, to disclose data to tax authorities, financial regulators and other governmental or regulatory bodies to the extent we are legally authorized or obliged to do so, and to assert, enforce and defend legal claims;

Job applications: For the purpose of reviewing your job application, carrying out the application process and, if your application is successful, preparing the start of the employment and concluding a corresponding contract;

Other purposes: To inform you about new products and services we offer, to send you invitations to events, publications, alerts, updates, news about us or similar. This may take the form of newsletters and other periodic contact (electronically, by post, by telephone). You can reject such communication at any time or refuse or revoke your consent to such communication.

We collect and record this information when you interact with us, for example when you communicate with our employees, register to receive information by email, when you attend a meeting or event or as part of an application process. We also collect or create personal data in the course of providing our services and when we obtain personal data from other sources, for example by consulting publicly available sources to update your details.

As part of the application process, we consult job-related social networks, the internet, media and, with your consent, obtain references.

Insofar as this is permitted, we also obtain certain data from publicly accessible sources (e.g. debt collection registers, land registers, commercial registers, media, Internet incl. social media) or receive such data from our clients and their employees, from authorities or other third parties.

If you provide us with data about other persons (e.g. family members), we assume that you are authorized to do so, that this data is correct and that you have ensured that these persons are informed of this disclosure, insofar as there is an obligation to inform these persons.

We may disclose your personal data to trusted third parties in connection with the above-mentioned purposes of processing to the extent permitted by law, including to the following categories of recipients:

• Other service providers who      process data as processors (e.g. IT service providers);
• Public bodies (e.g. authorities), insofar as a legal or administrative obligation provides for this;
• Other internal departments, e.g. finance, human resources, compliance;
• Auditors;
• third parties involved in the execution or organization of events and seminars;
• Other persons where the involvement of third parties arises from the aforementioned processing purposes. This applies, for example, to delivery addresses or payment recipients specified by you, third parties in the context of representative relationships (e.g. your lawyer or your bank) or persons involved in official or court proceedings.

Your personal data is mainly processed and stored in Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA). If, in exceptional cases, data is transferred to a country that does not guarantee an adequate level of data protection, the recipient will be obliged to ensure compliance with an adequate level of data protection by means of appropriate contracts (in particular on the basis of the so-called standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which can be found here: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dec_impl/2021/914/oj? including the amendments required for Switzerland) or so-called Binding Corporate Rules for an adequate level of protection or rely on the statutory exceptions of consent, contract performance, the establishment, exercise or enforcement of legal claims, overriding public interests, published personal data or because it is necessary to protect the integrity of the data subjects.

You are entitled to request detailed information about whether we process personal data about you and, if so, what personal data we process, why we process it, how long we store it, if available, the information about the origin of the personal data, the categories of recipients to whom personal data is disclosed and the countries to which personal data is transferred and on what basis this is done.

You are also entitled to request a copy of your personal data. You can also have your data corrected or deleted, restrict our processing activities relating to this information and object to the processing of your personal data.

Please note that conditions or exceptions may apply to these rights (e.g. because we are obliged to retain the data). We reserve the right to redact copies for reasons of data protection or confidentiality or to provide only excerpts. The exercise of your rights may make our contractually agreed service impossible and may, for example, lead to early termination of the contract or cost consequences. Where this is not already contractually regulated, we will inform you of this in advance. Even if you have withdrawn your consent or requested the deletion of your data, we are still authorized to process your personal data to the extent required or permitted by law.

You have the right to assert your claims in court or to lodge a complaint with a local supervisory authority, in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
